GBF Underground Mining Company began in 1988 in the Western Australian Goldfields as a locally owned and operated private underground mining contractor. The founders had a vision to become the Australian Mining Industry’s preferred services provider through continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence in safety, quality, efficiency and client services.
From this origin GBF has become a dynamic provider of a range of services to the mining and industrial sectors. GBF Underground Mining Company continues to have a strong presence in the Western Australian Goldfields and today the GBF group of companies has expanded to include GBF North operating in the Northern Territory, GF Holdings comprising of our Corporate, Human Resources, Health Safety and Environment, Purchasing and Finance divisions and GBF Mining and Industrial Services providing specialised services across Australia in maintenance, large diameter drilling, remote loader retrieval, paste filling, shotcreting and diamond drilling.
By concentrating on the core business of underground mining and industrial services and providing a safe, reliable and efficient service to their clients GBF have firmly established themselves as leaders in their fields. Across these four companies GBF now employ over 200 staff with offices in Perth, Darwin and the Goldfields.
